Beethoven Op. 13, Technique, Sight-Reading

Great progress on the Beethoven this week! The opening Grave section is really coming together dynamically. Focus on the Allegro molto transition — keep the LH Alberti bass lighter to let the melody sing. Dynamics in mm. 8–12 should be pp, not mp. Also work on the C major scale at a faster tempo — ♩=100 by next week.

Scales, Bach Minuet, Ear Training
March 24, 2026
Excellent work on the Bach Minuet in G! It's nearly performance-ready. Next week we'll add the ornaments. Scales are clean but still hesitant at the top of the octave — practice the top 2 octaves separately. Ear training is improving — you correctly identified all intervals this week.
